Board of Directors Deputy Chairman of TRA Dr. Yücel ERDEM attended to "ITA-AITES World Tunnel Congress 2007 "Underground Space - The 4th Dimension of Metropolises" and the 33rd ITA-AITES General Assembly", which was held in Prague on May 05-10, 2007 and presented the "Country Report".
At the meeting, General Directorate of Turkish Highways was represented by 12 Delegation chaired by Mr. M. Cahit TURHAN, General Director of Turkish Highways and Chairman of TRA.

36) 1st BLACK SEA & 4th SILK ROAD CONFERENCE (May 14-16, 2007)

"The 1st Black Sea & 4th Silk Road Conference", which was organized under the patronage of Turkish Republic Ministry of Public Works and Settlement and organized by General Directorate of Turkish Highways (KGM), Turkish Road Association (TRA) and International Road Federation (IRF), took place on May 14-16, 2007 in İstanbul Ceylan Intercontinental.
The Opening Ceremony of the Conference was honoured by the speeches of H.E. Süleyman DEMİREL, the 9th President of Turkish Republic; Mr. Faruk Nafız ÖZAK, Minister of Public Works and Settlement and Mr. M. Cahit TURHAN, General Director of Turkish Highways and Chairman of TRA.
The Conference was also honoured by 6 Ministers and official delegation from 17 countries.
